When you are moving, there is a lot
to do and you will have a lot on your mind. Here’s how
Utter Morris can help, if both locations need to be
covered due to closing dates we can hold covered on both
locations during the overlap.
Contents in transit are covered for
30 days. If contents need to be stored we can provide
storage insurance for you. While we do cover goods in
transit, we recommend that you purchase the insurance
offered by the mover to cover small damages, and
scratches.
We will look after a change in
mortgage companies.
If you are buying:
We can refer you to a broker with the
same carrier, if you are buying a home out of the
province and if they have an office in the new
province. A new insurance policy must be set up as
each province has different regulations.
Policies must be in the name of all
owners.
For your New Home
Utter Morris Insurance will measure
your house; provide your lawyer with confirmation of
insurance; recommend coverage you may require and bind
coverage for the mortgage company.
As a homeowner, your mortgage may
need to be insured through a life insurance policy Utter
Morris Insurance has licensed brokers who can provide
you with a quote.
If you do not have automobile
insurance with our office, Utter Morris Insurance would
