Insurance for All Terrain Vehicles
If you own or operate an ATV or off road vehicle in
Ontario, you are subject to the rules and regulations of
the Off Road Vehicle Act. All off road vehicles must be
registered with the Ministry of Transportation even if
they are only operated on your premises similar to
snowmobiles the law also requires that you carry
liability insurance unless operating the vehicle solely
on lands owned by the vehicle owner. It is important to
note that even if operated solely on lands you own, you
can still be held liable for any injury or property
damage arising out of the operating of the ATV.
Utter Morris offers very economical solutions for
insuring your ATV. As with other vehicles coverage can
be bough for liability and Accident Benefits, with the
option of adding coverage for collision specified perils
on comprehensive. Please see our “Auto” section for a
more detailed description of these coverages
